How to Teach Yourself Speed Reading

If you don’t want to attend any course or class, you can try to teach yourself speed reading. With speed reading, you not only read faster, you can also learn faster. It is a good skill to apply in schools and even your daily job. There are people who prefer to pick such skills on their own and you might be one of them. Learn how to teach yourself speed reading and start feeling good about it.

There are two parts to enable reading faster that you need to know if you want to teach yourself speed reading.
1. The first part is to know the actual amount of time needed for reading a passage. It should as fast as possible.

2. The second part of speed reading is to be able to adsorb and understand the information you have just read. It is usually if you can read fast and don’t understand a single thing.

Besides the above two sections which you must master, there are also other tips on how to teach yourself speed reading.
1. Improve your reading speed by seeing words in groups of letters instead of individual letter and sounding it out.

2. After you master how to recognize the words, you can move on to sentences. You will learn how to look at sentences at lightning speed and know the meaning of each one of them.
